Terrific news!  I now have an "inside" connection to the Highland Park Breed Ban issue.

'Here is an email directed to Lair Scott, who has spearheaded all efforts to prevent a ban from happening in Highland Park, Illinois.

"The staff has not been directed to place a Pit Bull (or any breed-specific ban) on Monday’s agenda, or any agenda in the future." Patrick Brennan, Deputy City Manager of Highland Park states and adds that, "I made the offer to contact you if any future action took place so you did not think that there was a conspiracy to place the matter on the agenda a few months later when the issue may have dropped off your radar."
